Manhattan Edit Workshop was proud to have Stephen Rotter as Artist in Residence for its latest Six Week Course. The Academy Award winning editor of The Right Stuff, The World According To Garp and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels gave students an in-depth look at his creative process, deconstructing sequences and sharing stories from his illustrious career. Steven will return in early 2008 for his Artist in Residence event at the Motion Picture Editors Guild. He’ll present classic scenes from his extensive body of work and offer tales from the cutting room floor. -March 2008
