Held on September 7th and 8th and taught by master filmmakers and technologists, Josh Apter (founder Manhattan Edit Workshop) and Jem Schofield (founder theC47), the Digital Cinema Bootcamp is a hands-on intensive workshop featuring the very latest in digital cinema gear from Canon and Digital Bolex. In addition to learning the ins and outs of the latest camera technology, Apter and Schofield will share shooting techniques and helpful tricks as well as discuss the infinite accessories and best practices for using cutting edge digital cinema filmmaking tools.

About Jem Schofield
Jem Schofield is the founder of theC47, an online and offline resource for production based training, information and services. He is a producer, author and educator who teaches production and post-production at workshops, trade shows and special events. He is also the founder and director of The Filmmaker's Intensive, an annual two-week program that focuses on narrative filmmaking. His company, Buttons Productions, produces projects for an ever-expanding client base, including Apple, Inc., The New York Times, Canon U.S.A. Inc., Abel Cine and Blue Note Records. Jem is an Apple Mentor Trainer and co-author of multiple Apple training books.

About Josh Apter
After graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, Josh Apter attended NYU's Graduate Film Program, where his thesis, 53rd Calypso, was honored with the Martin Scorsese Award for achievement in directing. Josh was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards (The John Cassavetes Award and Best Debut Performance) for his first feature film, Kaaterskill Falls. Josh has served as editor for over eight feature films including The Holy Land (winner Slamdance 2002/Cavu Pictures Distributor) and Barbecue is a Noun (Audience Award for best Documentary at the Rome International Film Festival and the River Run Film Festival). As a filmmaker, Josh is always producing, shooting and editing projects of all shapes and sizes. He recently completed principal photography on Out of Many, a documentary that follows five people as they travel across the country to the inauguration of Barack Obama.
