“Sight, Sound & Story: The Art of Cinematography” Production Event Returns December 6th

Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEWShop), the east coast leader in training and certification for content creators, announces the return of Sight, Sound & Story: The Art of Cinematography, December 6th at the NYIT Auditorium Theater on Broadway.

This evening event celebrates the craft of visual storytelling from the masters behind the camera; taking the audience on an in-depth look at the process of shooting narrative features, documentaries and series television. Following the event will be a Networking Party & Tech Lounge where the audience can meet panelists, moderators and event sponsors. “We were met with remarkable success when we expanded our ‘Sight, Sound & Story’ event series to include production last year,” says MEWShop President Jason Banke. “This year’s event is even bigger and better than last year, as we continue to expand and improve our speaker series each year.”

This special evening event features:

  • Eric Edwards (“Knocked Up,” “Kids,” “My Own Private Idaho”)
  • Ellen Kuras, ASC (“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Blow”)
  • Kirsten Johnson (“Citizenfour,” “Cameraperson,” “Fahrenheit 9/11”)
  • Vanja Cernjul, ASC (“30 Rock,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Marco Polo”)
  • Eric Lin (“I Smile Back,” “Equity”)
